PCS®2 Maintenance Seminars

PCS®2 Maintenance Seminars will be offered regionally 12 times during 2012. This highly effective training program is provided at no charge to all plasma center personnel who work with the PCS2. We will continue to provide on-site training classes to customers new to the PCS2 machines. Additional on-site training may be requested on a fee basis.

Upon successful completion of the PCS2 Maintenance Seminar, attendees will receive a certificate that recognizes their increased knowledge and skill set, and is suitable for framing.*

  • Who should attend?
This three-day course is designed to benefit all staff involved in the repair of the Haemonetics PCS2 (Rev H or higher). This course provides an opportunity for individuals with basic repair skills to update and broaden their knowledge of the PCS2.
  • What are the objectives?
Upon completion of this course, participants will have a full understanding of how the PCS2 functions, and will also develop skills for troubleshooting and diagnosing  machine issues, allowing them to be able to repair most PCS2 problems.

  • What can I expect?
Tools will be provided during the seminar. Participants will have the opportunity to disassemble and assemble the PCS2, as well as show their understanding through a written examination on the last day. Each participant must also successfully complete a practical skills assessment for diagnostics and calibration in a one-on-one evaluation with the training instructor.
  • What is expected from me?
Each attendee is required to complete the PCS2 Service Training CD, and successfully pass the test presented at the end of the training. This must be completed prior to attending the seminar, and the attendee must provide a copy of the Certificate of Completion at the time of registration to be eligible to participate in the PCS2 Maintenance Seminar.

*Attendees must successfully pass a written examination and one-on-one practical skills assessment.
*Haemonetics does not warrant or certify the ability, proficiency, or skills gained by attendees as a result of the training.
