PCS®2 Maintenance Seminars

PCS®2 Maintenance Seminars are offered approximately every 3 weeks throughout the calendar year. This highly effective training program is provided at no charge to all plasma center personnel who work with the PCS2. Additional on-site training may be requested on a fee basis.

Upon successful completion of the PCS2 Maintenance Seminar, attendees will receive a certificate that recognizes their increased knowledge and skill set, and is suitable for framing.*

  • Who should attend?
    This three-day course is designed to benefit all staff involved in the repair of the Haemonetics PCS2 (Rev H or higher). This course provides an opportunity for individuals with basic repair skills to update and broaden their knowledge of the PCS2.

  • What are the objectives?
    Upon completion of this course, participants will have a full understanding of how the PCS2 functions, and will also develop skills for troubleshooting and diagnosing  machine issues, allowing them to be able to repair most PCS2 problems.

  • What can I expect?
    Tools will be provided during the seminar. Participants will have the opportunity to disassemble and assemble the PCS2, as well as show their understanding through a written examination on the last day. Each participant must also successfully complete a practical skills assessment for diagnostics and calibration in a one-on-one evaluation with the training instructor.

  • What is expected from me?
    Each attendee is required to complete the PCS2 Service Training CD, and successfully pass the test presented at the end of the training. This must be completed prior to attending the seminar, and the attendee must provide a copy of the Certificate of Completion at the time of registration to be eligible to participate in the PCS2 Maintenance Seminar.

  • What should I wear?
    Please dress in business casual attire. However, medical scrubs are also allowed.

  • Registration: Advanced registration is required. Class size is limited and is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Haemonetics reserves the right to close registration once seating capacity is reached.
  • On-site registration is not permitted.
  • Cancellation within 14 days of the class start date will result in a $100 administrative fee. Haemonetics retains the right to cancel the class if under registered.
  • Once registered, each person will receive a complete agenda confirming date, location, and time.
  • Travel Arrangements: Please note that hotel reservations, transportation, and lodging costs are the responsibility of the participant.
