Why Haemonetics

Industry Leader

For over thirty years Haemonetics has established itself as the leader in the automated blood processing technology industry. If you have ever worked for an industry leader, then you are familiar with the sense of pride that comes with that distinction. You may also be aware of the added responsibility. We are dedicated to preserving our leadership position as well as providing our customers and patients with the innovative and high quality products that they have come to expect.

Environment

We have created an environment that encourages employee development, supports teamwork, promotes leadership at all levels and recognizes and rewards performance. Our work environment is congenial, our dress is business casual and our corporate facility is equipped with a full service cafeteria. We strive to preserve a clean and safe workplace, we embrace diversity and are proud of our many long term employees.

Employee Investment

Continuous improvement and ensuring that our employees have the skills necessary to effectively perform their job is very important to us. Our training system consists of three levels: new hire orientation, job specific and new skills development. We offer on-site managerial and leadership development programs for new and experienced supervisors and managers. Additionally, our Customer Oriented Redesign for Excellence (CORE) program is the cornerstone of our strategy to achieve operational excellence. Through the CORE program, employees gain and use the skills necessary to supply innovative, high quality, low cost products to our customers.

Career Development

Career development is important because it ensures that employees are satisfied and challenged by their work. At Haemonetics, employees are reviewed annually and have quarterly milestone discussions with their managers. These meetings and discussions are designed to review past performance and to look ahead at future opportunities. Career development also allows us to promote and hire from within. Internal promotions and transfers are a leading source of candidates for our open positions.

Work Life Balance

On-site daycare, job share arrangements and benefits to certain part-time positions are just a few examples of how we encourage our employees to achieve a balance between their work and personal lives. Additionally, many of our world wide offices offer Company and employee sponsored activities such as volunteer work, sporting events and community involvement.

What We Look For

There are many characteristics and skills that we look for in candidates depending on the position being considered. However, there are several core values that permeate the entire workforce, they are: Customer Focus - delivering value to our customers is how we justify our existence. Team Players - we use a team based approach to solve problems. Trust - every employee must have integrity beyond reproach. Quality Focus - we have an obligation to our customers, our patients and ourselves to deliver quality everyday. Creativity and Innovation - new ideas and processes are what separates us from our competitors. Finally, we look for individuals who share in our desire to create products that improve the availability of the world's blood supply.

Haemonetics Corporation supports the national policy of Equal Employment Opportunity.

It is our goal at Haemonetics to recruit applicants for jobs without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, handicap, marital status or veteran status.
