Angel Cagle

Angel began her career as a Production Operator at our Union, South Carolina solutions production plant. She is currently a QA Inspector, Chemist.

“Upon completing college I lacked laboratory experience. Several times during my career at Haemonetics I have been called upon to fill in at the Chemistry lab which helped me gain valuable practical experience. Now, I have been promoted to Chemist and I am finally utilizing my Bachelor's degree. I am looking forward to the challenge of learning new skills and using my previous experience to enhance my performance as a Chemist.

I have been trained in almost every department in our production areas. I have gained experience that has helped me learn our process from the ground up. It really helped me when I was promoted to QA Inspector, because I already knew a great deal about the products and what defects to look for. Now, as a Chemist, I feel I have come full circle. The entire process, from beginning to end, is complete and I have a greater appreciation for all the jobs here at Haemonetics.

Working in so many departments and getting to know so many diverse people has been a great experience. It has been amazing to meet such caring, hard-working, and truly good people. It was a quite a change going from production to QA inspector, but my co-workers were very supportive of me and offered a lot of encouragement.”

Chris Quinn

Chris joined Haemonetics in 1995 working at our Bothwell, Scotland Manufacturing facility as a Group Leader. Since then, he has held various positions, including Senior Group Leader, Materials Buyer/Planner, Materials Manager, Senior Manager, Materials & IT.

“By far the most rewarding experiencing has been hiring many of our employees over the years. It as been a privilege to see them being successful within Haemonetics. Many of these employees have been promoted to staff positions and to have been able to select and influence them in some way has been extremely rewarding to me personally.

I personally have been able to get involved in many areas of our business and many of the solutions and input I provided remain in place today. This has given me a great deal of personal satisfaction. There are not many opportunities to get involved in these types of roles throughout a career and to have been able to do this all within Haemonetics has been at times challenging but most definitely fun, fun, fun!!

The support from, and recognition by my peers and Senior Management in my abilities to deliver has helped me develop personally in a way I probably couldn't have done anywhere else. During this time Haemonetics has funded many courses for me and provided opportunities to learn new parts of our business and this is fully appreciated.”

Jay Brant

Jay started his career in 1999 as a Surgical Sales Representative. He has since been promoted into several positions including Eastern Region Sales Manager, Director of Sales, Midwest Region and Director of National Accounts in our Patient Division.

“When I began my career in the "Surgical Division" at Haemonetics, we had two regions, 12 sales representatives, a small Marketing department, and one product. As of today, we have four regions, 32 sales resources, a robust front office, and four technologies. The growth has been tremendous and I've enjoyed contributing to it.

I've participated in the transformation of a medical device company with three separate and distinctly independent divisions into one global leader in blood management solutions, now leveraging the strengths of two synergistic divisions. For me, the reward has been to see my contributions make a difference in this paradigm shift. There is no other company competing in our market that has a stronger value proposition or position for growth than Haemonetics.

I've been very fortunate to have chosen mentors that have given me honest and sincere feedback on my strengths and weaknesses. My goal has always been to focus my efforts on maximizing my talents and improving my weaknesses to an acceptable level. This thought process has allowed me to succeed in positions of increasing responsibility during my career at Haemonetics. My supervisors have always encouraged me to be creative, take risks and set "stretch goals" not easily attainable with normal effort.”

Joe Falletta

Joe joined Haemonetics in 1993 working at our Leetsdale, Pennsylvania facility as an Assembler Specialist. Since then, he has held positions as Group Leader, Senior Group Leader, Assistant Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and Sr. Production Supervisor.

“My most enjoyable experiences at Haemonetics has been working with the people at our Leetsdale facility. I have grown through the organization due to the opportunity to work with our people to provide a solidified working environment, which has been the basis of our business growth. We have very special people here in Leetsdale, and seeing the opportunities of growth for our employees has been very enjoyable for me!

To see the business growth and maturation of our facility, and to be one of the leaders involved with this process has been very rewarding. This includes the opportunity to grow within our manufacturing organization through working with our group, not only individually, but as a team. It is just so amazing the growth we have experienced as a result of the hard work of our people working as one, and focusing on how to improve facets of our business in team settings.

Haemonetics has greatly contributed to my learning and provided me career development opportunities through training and experience, while encouraging me to use my skill sets. Haemonetics constantly provides professional growth motivation due to supporting their employees, and has personally provided me opportunities to grow professionally. This has been very positive, because it has allowed personal satisfaction and reward to be felt through the increased business growth that our facility has experienced.”

Tracy Quin

Tracy started her career at Haemonetics as an Administrative Assistant. She joined the Purchasing group in 2000 where she has worked as a Contract Agent and Sr. Contract Agent.

“No doubt I have enjoyed being able to grow professionally within the company. It has kept me challenged and happy at Haemonetics. I have learned so much along the way and witnessed how our company has evolved. My growth has given me a perspective on how each organization works and has helped me understand how Haemonetics does business. I have never met a manager at Haemonetics that hasn't promoted growth within the company. It's not just something we talk about at Haemonetics it's something we do. Haemonetics believes in the people they cultivate.

Being a working mom with a growing career at Haemonetics has been very rewarding. About 15 years ago Haemonetics invested in building a day care center for its employees. This giving me the opportunity to invest in my career at Haemonetics. Along the way my children have grown and so have I and it's been a wonderful balance.

The attitude towards learning and career development at Haemonetics is very positive. Beside classes, inter-company training and the performance management system encourage development. I've had a number of great managers who became my mentors and encouraged my development. I have been able to branch out and expand my areas of interest and roles in the organization. Haemonetics has given me the opportunity and freedom to achieve my career goals.”
