The new European guidelines for acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) recommend antiplatelet therapy (APT) de-escalation guided by platelet function tests (PFT). Thromboelastography (TEG) is a PFT for personalized assessment of APT treatment and responsiveness.
